Ikyo Deborah Teryimah is a Gender Expert and a Project officer. She holds a BSc in Women’s Studies with Sociology and Anthropology (double major) honors from the University of Buea. She also holds a Diploma in Secretarial duties. 

She has served in different capacities as a Field Assistant on the project for the elimination of Force and Child Marriage in Akwaya Sub Division, CYJulerc 2008, an intern at the Ministry of Women Empowerment and the Family Mamfe South West Region Cameroon, 2012, Volunteer at the Ministry of Women Empowerment and the Family Akwaya, women trainer and CIG formation, 2014.

Her quest for learning and empowerment took her to Nigeria where she became an Associate member of the Institute of Strategic Entrepreneurs of Nigeria, and also got a certificate on Skills and Entrepreneurship Development from the Institute 2018. She also bags other certificate, trainings and workshops such as JCI workshop on local Organizational and Personnel Management 2011, workshop on the Impact of Entrepreneurial Development in a Dynamic Economy 2019

Ikyo Deborah Teryimah, is a good team leader with effective communication, writing and leadership skills, she has the intergrity, diversity and inclusive attitude needed by any progressive organization. She also has good analytical and problem solving ability. She is God fearing, humble, sociable, a fast learner and easily adapts.
