Nicole is a Medical Doctor who joined CYJULERC as a second-year medical student. Her experience in the implementation of CYJULERC’s sexual reproductive health rights projects motivated her to develop an interest in Public Health.  She realized that though clinical management of patients is important, health care services are improved if the social aspects surrounding the patients’ environment are also taken into consideration. She was thus motivated to specialize in Public health soon after her graduation as a Medical Doctor in 2016.

As a Medical Doctor in government hospitals, having worked in District Hospital Biyem Assi, Yaounde, and currently at the District Hospital Deido, Douala, Nicole blends her expertise for better management of her patients.

Her training in Public Health has improved her contribution to CYJULERC’s sexual and reproductive health rights programs, and all health activities like the fight against COVID -19 enormously.

Her voluntary services have been vital to other health challenges facing the vulnerable women, girls, and children (internally displaced) living in the Yaounde and Douala having been displaced by the four (04) years armed conflict in the two English-speaking regions of Cameroon.
